The Foyer
As you enter the Community Centre, you will find a clean, smoke-free environment. The large, freshly painted foyer also benefits from recently being carpeted. The toilet facilities are accessed from here, which have all been refurbished and include disabled facilities. From the foyer you can access the Main Hall and the Bar Lounge.
The Fordham Hall
This measures 10.35m x 16.75m and holds approximately 150 people. A great place for a party or conference. The Fordham Hall has central strip lighting, as well as subtle wall lighting, depending on the mood. There is a dance floor of 7m x 6m and the rest of the hall has recently been re-carpeted. There is a large adjacent kitchen with ample facilities including fridge/freezer, cooker, shutters to serve from the kitchen to the hall. There is also an exit onto the King George V Memorial Sports Field.
Lankester Lounge
An excellent facility to hire either on its own or with The Fordham Hall. The Lankester Lounge has comfortable seating with tables and encourages a relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to hold meetings and small conferences.
Looking for a venue for up to 50 people? Then The Williams-Davies Hall is a must. This facility benefits from being self-contained from The Fordham Hall of the Community Centre. It has its own kitchen and toilet facilities and is great for children’s parties!
Changing Areas
There are large changing facilities for all sports, and include home and away dressing rooms and referee changing room. These facilities have also been refurbished recently and now look and smell so much better with new coats of paint and new, enhanced ventilation.
